Louise began her career as a Costs Draftsman in 1992 working for a niche firm of independent Law Costs Draftsmen and has developed and gained a considerable wealth of experience in the preparation of costs budgets, Bills of Costs, and seeing matters through to a negotiated settlement of costs.
Louise joined R Costings in 2006 with an unrivalled pedigree and works daily on a variety of matters included but not limited to Court of Protection, private client, high value personal injury and clinical negligence matters. Louise is regarded as a go-to expert in her field and also within R Costings, and is admired by her clients as an extremely capable and confident Costs Draftsman regularly achieving results above expectation. Over the years her workload has increased significantly and she now deals primarily with maximum severity Claimant personal injury and clinical negligence cases for which she offers the full cradle to grave service. Louise’s notable achievements include dealing with many large multi million pound personal injury cases involving complex issues and she successfully concluded a claim for costs for her instructing Solicitor in the sum of £1.8M.
Currently Louise has a keen interest in costs budgeting as well as preparing phased CMO Bills compliant with the new rules and Bill formats. Louise regularly works in-house for her Instructing Solicitors on short notice and when flexibility dictates for urgency.
